Lying Tiger & Shaq Oh My (Do All Famous Men Cheat?)

Tiger Stressed

For the past week and a half people have been hitting me up with the same question: What’s your take on the whole Tiger Woods scandal? Truthfully, I haven't really been paying that much attention to it. Well, I have but there’ve been so many damn updates it’s hard to keep track.

All I know is it somehow snowballed from Tiger being involved in a “car accident” over Thanksgiving weekend to his wife “rescuing” him from the car wreck to his wife actually causing the accident and “allegedly” hitting him in the head with a golf club to Tiger cheating on her to Mr. Golf Pro practicing his stroke with a shitload of mistresses.

Seriously, like WTF?

It seems like five times a day I hear some new development and scandalous secret that has transformed Tiger from Mr. Perfect Athlete to Mr. Average Joe. At the end of the day, though, that's all Mr. Woods, or any other celebrity for that matter, is—a regular person. Sure famous people have way more money than you or I and get followed around by paparazzi all day, but before all that (unless they’re born into fame) they were just like you or I coming up—regular.

Cheating isn't anything new. Unfortunately, people do it every day (sometimes twice). It’s your neighbor, you’re co-worker, the person in the car next to you, the person ringing you up at the grocery store or even your significant other. Any one of these people could be creepin’, so what makes you think that someone like Tiger wouldn't?

Why, because he seems like such a nice all-American?

Pfff. That's all image, and if I’ve learned anything from American advertising is that image is nothing; thirst is everything. From the looks of it, good ol’ Tiger was plenty thirsty.

“It’s not the cheating. It’s the hunger—the hunger for an alternative and the refusal to accept a life of unhappiness.”

I can’t front like I wasn’t initially surprised by news of Tiger’s affairs, but the more I thought about it, the less shocked I was. Truth be told, because of his fame he's probably more likely to have a sidepiece than most because beautiful women (and the ones he cheated with) are probably throwing themselves at him constantly. Even the most faithful man (or woman) might have a moment of weakness if there’s a constant barrage of booty being thrown their way.

Fame and power are synonymous, and like Peter Parker's uncle Ben so eloquently told him, "With great power comes even greater responsibility." Unfortunately, most men aren't super heroes; just mere mortals with weak will power.

Such is the case with Mr. Woods.

I think the shock value with his situation is Tiger's clean-cut image, combined with the fact that his private life has been pretty much private over the years. Other than the fact he plays golf and considers himself Cablasian (Caucasian+Black+Asian), I don't know much about Mr. Woods. However, now I know way more than I need to.

Forgive me if I mix any of the “facts” up, but from what I've heard Tiger's cheating was done very sloppily. In addition to a two-year-old daughter and a 10-month old son, he also has several jump-offs on the side. This includes Australian getaways, his best friend booking flights, reality show “stars” and a whole bunch of other stuff I won’t get into here. The point is Tiger was double dipping his 69-iron in multiple golf bags along with his wife's. SMH. But, hey, what do you expect, he's a man of power.

From Michael Jordan and Magic Johnson to Bill Clinton and Elliot Spitzer to Joey Buttafuoco and Hugh Grant, we’ve seen it time and time again. A man of power cheats on his wife with another woman. In some cases she takes him back or “forgives” him, but in others she hits him where it hurts and goes for his wallet.

This is where a thing like a prenup would come in handy. Apparently Tiger and his wife have one, but they’re actually rewriting it for the sake of the marriage (read: payoff, kinda like the rumored $1 million mistress No. 1 got to go mum in the press).

There are countless reasons for why someone would stay with a cheating spouse, (UPDATE: Apparently Tiger's wife recently moved out) like maintaining a false public image, money, the kids, whatever, there are two folks in particular both men and women can learn from.

First off is, Shaq’s wife, Shaunie. The soon-to-be former Mrs. O’Neal is a paper gangsta for real. Not only did she take the kids and split when she found out Shaq Daddy was getting his mack daddy on with a stripper/actress who he’d have explicit sexting sessions with, in addition to “smashing” the wives/fiancées and baby mamas of other NBA players, she filed for divorce in L.A., where it’s almost a guarantee that she’ll get half of his bankroll.

On the other side of the fence, I have to give it up to my man David Letterman. I think he has proven to be the smartest celebrity of them all when it comes to cheating. When he was being blackmailed for money by a whistleblower about his office affairs, Dave didn’t buckle. In fact, in a preemptive move he went on national television and just came clean about his adultery.

Sure his name was in the headlines for a few weeks but there really wasn’t any real backlash—at least not a damaging one. Far be it for me to condone cheating because I’ve done my own dirt before, but id like to think that no matter the reasons or whether or not you’re famous or not, honesty is the best policy. Hopefully, now that the truth is out we can all get back on course. FORE!!!!

What’s your opinion on this whole Tiger debacle? Where you surprised by the affairs because of his squeaky-clean image? Do you think this will affect his career in the long-run? Do you think his wife is wrong for staying? Could you stay with someone that had that many jump-offs? Do you think that most athletes, politicians and men of power are prone to cheat? Do you think most of their wives know but just look the other way because of the money? What do you think of Shaq’s scandals? Do you agree that Letterman was the smartest one because he never lied about anything and was honest from the gate?

Speak your piece…

Tiger wasn't lying. He was crouching whilst hiding the dragon in a few different lairs. :-|

Had to say that first. Off to read.....

"...because beautiful women (and the ones he cheated with)..."

    *_______flat-lined_______*

"I think the shock value with his situation is Tiger’s clean-cut image, combined with the fact that his private life has been pretty much private over the years." -----> Pretty much. Once that wore off though, it wasn't surprising at all. He was probably just welcomed into the Lifestyles of the Schlongs & Restless brotherhood you know, with him being friends with Charles Barkley and 'em. :-|

Do you think this will affect his career in the long-run?
    - Nope.

Do you think his wife is wrong for staying?
    - Yep.

Could you stay with someone that had that many jump-offs?
    - Hell to the no. Exposing me to all kinds of bacteria and viruses by not having the decency to respect me or the marriage/vows? Absolutely not staying around.

Do you think that most athletes, politicians and men of power are prone to cheat?
    - Yes. Money + power = panty throwing and a lot of "weak" men.

Do you think most of their wives know but just look the other way because of the money?
    - Not sure.

What do you think of Shaq’s scandals?
    - He's sloppy too. Go team Shaunie, straight to California.

Do you agree that Letterman was the smartest one because he never lied about anything and was honest from the gate?
    - It seemed more awkward than honest.

    Off top...

I dont condone adultery. Be honest. Marriage is a lifetime commitment. Dont break that. It's not fair and it's not right.

I'm never shocked when it comes to these celebrity affairs. They have money, power and influence and women tend to be attracted to these things. We're all human and make mistakes. However, adultery is a conscious decision I cant excuse anyone from. Wanna play the field? cool...but be a man and be honest about it. Females may not like it, but at least they can respect the honesty about the situation and choose not to mess with you. With adultery, you break a vow.

I do think a lotta celebrity wives look the other way..but best believe if some shit happens, they'd get lawyered up real fast. Shaq's wife is not playing around for example. Then again, who knows if they even marry these men because of them.

Tiger didnt even "cheat properly". He left paper trails...and the dude is a billionaire...he's prime extortion material. SMFH

  • da ThRONe

I question all people. It is what it is. I think cheating is a huge act of cowardness. Why is this about men cheating women cheat just as much. I heard whispered that Shaq wife was cheating as well.

  • http://spinsterstravels.wordpress.com Spinster

He made the topic about cheating men. Maybe he'll make a topic about cheating women if he hasn't already. But for now, since Crouching Tiger is all the rage in the cyber-world and real life, powerful men who cheat are the most appropriate topic to discuss/write about.

  • trice

Like i said on my last comment those marriage vows say forsaking all others not forsaking all others with the exception of celebrities.

  • Malia

I don't think the wife is wrong for staying, because, well, she's not going to top Tiger. She has nowhere to go but downhill. People think about the wife getting half, but when she gets half she gives up half. Plus, she's no longer Mrs. "So-and-so" and a lot of them don't like living without that status.

There's no chance she didn't know. She has already turned a blind eye to his cheating. Now, it's just a matter of how she deals with public embarrassment.

  • IRizle

we all cheat whether your famous or not. tiger got caught. he did not know how to play the game. he got sloppy at the end and now he has to deal with it.

  • Stewart

This is a hot mess!!! There is nothing else in the world to focus on right. Get real, men cheat because women let them, and women cheat because men can do it and think its ok. To all the people (men and women) That have ever been in a relationship and has caught their significant other cheating and left their behinds, thank you. As long as we let it and we forgive them for it they'll keep doing it. The crap about celebrities this and money that, is a bunch of excuses and everyone knows that excuses are just lies covered up. I don't condone anyone that cheats, but i also don't care. We always want to use the excuse that men has been cheating for generations but there also women and men out there that won't allow this excuse to pass. If Tiger cheated, and his wife stands behind him (keyword: behind), then it is what it is. And that's for everyone that has done it. My only thing is why get married? Everoyone has done it a time or too, even the scariest of all. But at what point do you say (DAMN im too old for this crap.

  • A29

Many women stay because of the money , they are able to look the other way. I'ts scary though, all these std's If he never wanted sex from me I would stay but lets be honest it doesn't go down like that so i would have to leave, or he would have to die!!!

  • Elle

    Humans. What can I say.

I despise such weakness but it is what it is. Most humans are weak and we all should be aware of it. Honor and integrity are not for everyone. Why should celebrities be any different?

Nothing in life is free, nothing. So these guys will pay for their infidelity one way or another. And quite frankly I think it is only fair. They dishonored their wives and humiliated them publicly for the world to see. Now it is their turn to get humiliated.

What I will never be able to wrap my mind around is the fact that these sleezy women can overlook not only a man's wedding ring but also the fact that he is butt ugly just because he holds a little cash. WTF. For no money in the world would I want to see Tiger, Shaq or any of them naked *throws up in her mouth a little*
    Bleh :|

  • BMW2K

I think all humans are prone to cheat. Men seem to do it more often because they are more likely to get caught. JMO.

Regarding crouching Tiger, I could not care less. Either he is either an a** or just has no respect/love for his wife. I mean really, whatever happened to discretion? Not that it would change his apparent lack of integrity.

As for his wife? Of course she is going to stay. I mean really . . . has his cheating impacted the reason she married him in the first place? Probably not - he is still paid out the wazoo. Ironically enough, for many women cheating is expected, so when it happens it is just par for the course.

For me, infidelity has not been an issue - to date. I think that is more a result of open communication than anything else. I tend to let you know if I am unhappy and then I expect a us to resolve it. If you are unhappy and tell me, then I will do what I can to remedy that situation.

Of course, I am also a crack shot at 500 feet without a scope. That could have something to do with it also ;-) .

  • http://sleep-is-the-cousin-of-death.blogspot.com/ Tunde

i really don't care about this whole tiger debacle. i really wish that it wasn't made public knowledge but now that it is, i still don't care either way.

for those who are so quick to judge tiger, have you ever cheated on a s/o? i bet most have at some points in their lives so why be so judgmental when you've been in the same place. sure the stakes weren't as high and you didn't have the same public scrutiny but in the end its still the same.

his career will probably be affected by these turn of events. golf is a sport that requires a lot of concentration and minimum distractions. i would imagine that it would be hard for him not to think about the mess that has become of his personal life.

  • mizze

I agree with you @da Throne.. women do cheat jjust as much but dont get caught half as much..sorry, just reality..I know SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO many females gettin dicked down by another dude and goin back to they main like nothin happened.. sad but true.

On to Tiger.. I was slightly surprised but then realized he had a penis so then it wore off. I mean I do NOT believe that all celebrity men with power and money cheat just a about 90% of them. But I am not in their rooms or hotels or tour buses so I cant tell. My thing is that the AVERAGE man is cheatin just as much as these men with money do. At least celebrities have money to shut these women up. I dont condone any cheating even though I have slipped up. Why dont people just NOT be in relationships? I just feel that people are so selfish and into what THEY want they dont think about their wife/husband or kids when they layin up with someone else. they know they will get hurt and just DONT care.

And for those saying Tiger's business is his business= YOU OPEN YOURSELF UP TO THE PUBLIC EYE, YOU OPEN YOURSELF UP TO PUBLIC OPINION

  • Bree

Funny how timing works....I found out that my man was cheating the same day this story broke. I understand how the wife may feel in this situation however, we must be careful not to catorgize all men as cheaters. I believe that there are some good men out there, faithful men. So as I struggle to end a very long-term relationship, I gotta remember to hold my head high. I wasnt the one who messed up and I didn't cause this. On to the next.......

  • Rastaman

I admittedly do not hold fidelity to be some moral barometer or the true measure of a person's character as much as a majority of people do. I see too many men of good character get dragged through the mud because sex with women other than their wives is there vice.

I believe all men are entitled to at least one vice because it keeps you humble. Your vice will remind you that as humans we all have weaknesses and more often than not we succumb to those weaknesses. However from all the revelations, Tiger Woods is a pig!!

A pig in the sense that he was not filling a need for sex or companionship, he was greedy, sloppy and apparently would sleep with pretty much any woman. That to me is the most disappointing thing about this whole episode.

As far as the sexual proclivities of the rich, famous and powerful, I don't think much as changed throughout history. The rich, the powerful and the celebrated have always had a better pick of the lot sexually than rest of us. Because there are enough people out here willing to provide any sexual service in order to be associated with them for whatever reasons. The only people acting like that is not true are the naive spouses, the naive public and the media hypocrites.

Sex in our society is a commodity and try as we may to bury that fact we are reminded everyday has people buy, sell and and trade it to achieve all manner of needs. Until we are willing to accept some of these brutal truths about the human animal we will continue to experience the frequent bimbo eruptions from some politician, performer or preacher, it will titillate, lead to some superficial discussion and we will return to our largely moribund lives.

  • That Guy

Lets be real about this... cheating is all about opportunity.. most people dont because either (a) they can (b) to fill a void (c) they think they can get away with it (d) all of the above...

Add money, and power and you get a narcisstic combo...

It's mostly human nature, but it's hightened when u add money and power

PS: Way to keep it real DaThrone.. Once a good girl goes bad she's gone 4ever... I know so many chicks that are better at the game then men... College opened my eyes to that... Heck, half the women I know now in relationships step out for various reasons, but mainly because of they feel they can...

  • DC Man With a Plan

Dang, Ans. I was holding out hope that NWSO would be the LAST bastion of non tiger conversation bcuz it's ery'where and I'm tired of it....Then I listened to the video song you posted and it's ALL GOOD now! Yeah, nothing like another Tiger joke or comedy routine to get me in the gossiping mood.......To make me remember to be "thankful" that no matter what else is going on in my life--I can go outside and not have ppl pointing at me, laughing about me or providing HOURS of material for my kids to one day stumble onto, that outlines in excruciating details, how I dogged their mom. Yeah, I might have 99 problems........but a wife with a good lawyer ain't one!

  • DC Man With a Plan

WARNING: This is gonna be MOSTLY tongue in cheek, so don't bust a vain....This whole debacle with Tiger demonstrates to me, the need to open a business. It'll be called " Mistress School," becuz these damn young women don't know how to play their role, stay in their lane and play the game like the rules say it's supposed to be played. You have a married man--not married to YOU. He approaches with flowers, drink, car or money--and you say: (insert cricket sound here)... Rule (1) Married men DO not leave their wives for the mistress, 99.99% of the time. And when they do leave or get kicked out, 99.98% of the time, they don't hook up with the former mistress. So should you NOT turn his advances down, what is it you seek? Fun? Money? Dyck? Notoriety? Fame? If you want money, and that which money can buy: you're a hooker; high priced one--maybe, but still you're a hooker bcuz right off the dribble, you have made a conscious decision to have sex for money, and we ain't talkin a million dollars per f*ck, so it ain't that deep. If you're gonna f*ck with the married man, know he ain't leaving wifey--and if U are doing it for fun, you gotta know it's on the low-low. U don't get visits on HOLIDAYS, Valentines Day: maybe the day b4 or AFTER a holiday, but not THE day of; U likely can't do any weekend getaways; No phone calls after work hours; no tweets, texts, IM, bird calls...and for your cooperation and going along to get along, U get some used d*yck, cash bonuses, birthday gifts and the opportunity to feel almost like a real woman, almost like a half wife. There used to be a "CODE OF HONOR" among ppl hooking up with married ppl. What has the world come to? smdh....shedding a lil tear.....snif-snif..

  • smartgirl

I have been a lurker for some time but I have to add a comment on this topic! Great blog by the way.

I don't condone cheating, if you can't be faithful stay single or do an open relationship.

As for Crouching Tiger, he is stupid and/or has a huge ego! If you are going to cheat, cheat within your caste meaning cheat with women who have as much to lose as you! These mistresses have nothing to lose and everything to gain because of who they are (basically nannies like his wife). PLease, he should have found some bored, lonely housewife married to a CEO who wasn't risking her bread and butter! If he wanted to dig in the dirt, then he should have taken care of them more than TMZ and all the other tabloids. Second, he should have hired a point person so that he NEVER talked to these women so there was never any evidence of an affair or paper trail. Tiger has too much $ to be leaving voicemail messages with his name on some chic's phone. Please!!

All in all, Tiger is stupid and deserves whatever happens. Elin ain't leaving because she knew what she was getting into when she married him, she is just fronting.

  • That Guy

For all ya'll worrying about the money... believe he has a team of lawyers that will keep what's in his safe...well, safe...

(she'll get some, but that half thing is an urban myth, the money is offshore accounts, tied up in llc's/corporations, not to mention foundations)

When your a "business" not just in business, there are whole teams/orgs (Nike, Accenture, Amex, etc) that have your back, so she aint going against just Tiger, she's going at the top corporations in the Fortune 100, my guess is she isn't strong enough for (that big of) fight... She can be happy for whatever she get...

**Sorry, just had to keep it real**

  • kate

He cheated... He's Human.... Let it go...and let him save his marriage. Those without sin..cast the first stone... There are bigger problems in the world to worry about than someones private affairs..get a life people.

  • Pierre F. Lherisson

I am not sure that Tiger Woods reject the Black community or has contempt for Afro and Asian women. He is an offspring of both races.
The diatribe about his mistresses is an ad hominen fallacy; [guilt / honor by association] depending on the premises.
He might have a preference for blonde but this is not a sacrilege to the Afro and the Asian communities. He has a right to pick the woman he likes without third party interferences.

Now let's speculating as to why all the women on the so called "scandal” are Caucasians.
The PGA of America has 28,000 members only 145 are Afro-American; that represent less than one percent of Afro-American in golf. Golf is predominantly a Caucasian oriented sport. This implies that the chance for him to meet an Afro-American woman in a golf environment is negligible or almost nil; consequently, the women he met in golf setting are Caucasian.

His indulgence in profligate amours should not be a surprise. Scientific observation suggests that polygamy seem to be prevalent throughout the animal kingdom--from birds to Homo sapiens; monogamy tends to be a rarity in nature. This is a biological reality. If you have any doubts about it check the history of: Sumerian, Babylonia, Phoenician, China, Egypt, ancient Greece, Roman Empire, Byzantine, Elizabethan times, the French, The Russian, and modern day America. Monogamy started in Western Europe and it was artificially imposed to several countries in the West for economic reason. To conclude: Jacqueline Kennedy said: “I do not think there are any men who are faithful to their wives.”

uhm.... tiger woods is half asian.. not white...

    @Brittany,

uhm, nah, Tiger's ancestry isn't that cut and dry. He constantly refers to him self as “Cablinasian.”

His pops is mixed—part African American, Chinese and Native American—and his mom is from Thailand but also mixed with Chinese and Dutch.

    Feel free to Google it

Note to fellas, beware smartgirl she too smart for y'all "game" LOL

My only problem with Tiger cheating is that it gives women more ammo when saying that men are dogs. Thanks Tiger for making me prove to the next one that I'm not u : )

  • skye

I'm not suprised by his cheating, but he was really sloppy with his. I totally agree with smartgirl on this one, the man is too damn paid to be so careless.

LMAO after watching the video and reading DC Man With a Plan's line 'Yeah, I might have 99 problems……..but a wife with a good lawyer ain’t one!'

I've been trying to avoid listening, watching or hearing about Tiger since this whole thing broke. Adultery is difficult for any couple to deal with, without the whole world watching. However, as much as I have tried (in vain) to shove my head deeply into the sand one thing keeps coming into my head...

His poor kids are going to have to deal with hearing/reading about this for the rest of their lives.

To me that's what's truly whack about the whole situation.

  • DC Man With a Plan

lol...ppl like "Kate" who say get a life and leave him alone--do so by adding to the mix...lol. FAME is vigorously sought and fought for in the beginning. It's not until FAME and fortune are obtained, that artists and athletes start wanting privacy. U hardly EVER hear about ppl who have wealth, that's passed down through their family for generations, in the tabloids. They're just quietly making billions out of the lime light. Tiger wanted the spotlight 20, 30 years ago. Dreamed about it; was driven by it and was willing to do whatever necessary, to obtain it. Don't cry now that you're getting unwanted publicity. It's all part of the fame game: U gotta take the good with the bad just like in every other part of life. And TRUE, while there are numerous issues more important, how many issues do YOU (Kate) think you're gonna solve by being on-line for any amount of time? Probably NONE! I'm on a break from my efforts to solve the worlds problems. Can a brother talk trash--during a break? Can U grant me that much? I don't even know WHY the holier than tho ppl even come on line...smdh...

  • da ThRONe

Im sure there's a B on that birth certificate! I know just because that how the world sees you that doesnt mean you have to fall in line. And in many respects I applauded Tiger for not denying all his heritage. But you can not deny he is the global icon he is now because he's the "Black Golfer". If he was equally as dominate and white nobody would ever care. For whatever reason Tiger has been groomed to embrace white culture and thats the part that I despise about him.

  • capricorn

Tiger was sloppy. Period. Jump off #1 is laughable b/c she thought she was the only one. Elin should take whatever she is owed according to the prenup and bounce. And the fact that the prenup was rewritten as soon as the story broke makes me think that Elin was aware of some aspect of cheating. One or two I could forgive, but this is now coming up on double digits!! He's ONE man, who is sloppy with his (NO CONDOMS?? EWW, come on Tiger. . well not literally, but, lol). I do not judge all men by Tiger.

As for Shaq and Shaunie, they get the side eye because she just landed a reality show about NBA Wives, Ex Wives, Girlfriends, Baby Mama's whatever. And moving to LA just to get half looks shady to me, seeing how they haven't lived there in a minute. She's just as shady as he is, she can just hide it better.

  • Anonymous

Call me naive, old fashion, or whatever but this is so wrong. Tiger Woods is despicable. Can you imagine how many lies he had to tell to keep his alternate life going? He went as far to ask his mistress to remove her voicemail recording once his wife caught on, which means the “you’re crazy and insecure topic came up”... I feel that’s emotional abusive and his wife’s assumed role as primary caregiver will be affected. She hasn't only been betrayed but can't make a clean break because of the kids. I don't think that “come up" was worth it. I feel like no one respects the vows taken before God and their partner anymore.

  • Elle

And on that note I wonder why the eff I get hit on by married men .... disgusting.

  • http://www.steamywindows.wordpress.com Jamila J

Tiger Woods is a human (see I didn't say man b/c cheating isn't limited to either sex) people seem not to realize. I'm sure Tiger was Daddy Long Stroke way before he got married, Elin just expected that to change though

  • Victoria

I keep reading post where it is cited that Tiger is quote on quote "human," as if that excuses him for having not one, not two, but 16 (and counting) women (hoes) on the side. Yes, he is human therefore, he has the freedom of CHOICE. That's the wonderful part about being human, unlike other creatures such as animals, we have the freedom of choice. It has not been biologically proven that men are more prone to cheat due to some sort of genetic or bio function. Men (and women) cheat because, they want too, they cheat because, they can, they cheat because, the are selfish, they cheat to make themsevles feel good, they cheat to satisfy their sexual desires, and wants. In fact, I read a poll where women cheat more than men--they are just good at hiding it THUS, this disapproves the genetic and/or biologically crap that is being spurred about men and why they cheat. I think it's pretty simple, if you know you are the type of person who likes to be with more than one person, DON'T COMMIT---STAY SINGLE. That way, nobody gets hurt in the end because, the person (s) that really suffer are the children in the end. Tiger Woods is selfish and doesn't care about his wife feelings towards this cheating matter nor does he care about the women he cheated on her with. Those women (hoes) are still single, and not Elin has to deal with the shame and disgrace Tiger has brought upon the family. What is even more sadder is that reports are spurring around that Tiger tried to "buy" Elin into staying married to him. WHEN WILL THIS GUY LEARN??? Money can't buy TRUE, FAITHFUL AND EVERLASTING LOVE. Now, if Tiger was on the "up and up" what he wold do instead is STOP CHEATING AND GET RID OF ALL THOSE WOMEN (HOES). Elin can do what she wants regarding her marriage. If she chooses to stay, then so be it, if she chooses to go, so be that too. I think that when a person cheats more than once, it's probably safe to assume they are a cheater and they aren't going to make the choice to stop because, it's what they want to do. I would want to leave the relationship simply because, I wouldn't be able to trust Tiger again...that is, if I were in Elin's shoes.

It was really shocking to find out about all the affairs he was having. But it's his choice and people shouldn't judge that.

Men cheat to prove to themselves and others that they're the alpha males they want to be. Unfortunatley, they have to do a whole lot of lying to prove it.

Women fall for the lies because they want to believe them -- and when the truth comes out, they seem to feel foolish for being so gullible.
And then they're willing to do whatever it takes to expose the lying snake for a scumbag.

If women just judged a whole lot more, they would see a snake for a low-life, and spare everyone from the wannabee's "news."
