Do You Enjoy Summer Fridays? (Best Of, Vol. 17)
Hey Sock Heads, hope everyone is enjoying the summer thus far. I know I’ve been enjoying these summer Fridays, but I checked in today real quick for my monthly recap of some of my most memorable posts from the Sock Drawer (aka archives).

I feel like you don't post as much of you're own writing as you use to and these make me miss it.. especially your wet wednesday
You mean back when I didn't have a job and wasn't trying to do a book? Yeah, sorry, life is type hectic. Like I just told R.E.D. in another post, even though my name might not be at the top of some of the posts I'm still editing them and adding NWSO-isms along the way, so I'm still here making it do what it do. Gotta remember NWSO is just one man so I appreciate the submissions because sometimes it's either that or no posts at all for that day

I'd rather have a really good (let me repeat that, really good…lol) guest post than no post at all. I mean if you can make that happen then its much appreciated. I love your writing but I've also come to find some really great writers through guest posts on NWSO. So if I can have both then that would be the best possible outcome.

So I just answered you on the prior post and now I can't even follow it. OK the new site is a little confusing in terms of following the comments but I think my post yest. was just too long. We know you are busy and of course we like guest writers, like Ronnie, but take it as a compliment that we miss you. Do your thing, I know how it is when not one more damn morsel can fit on your life's plate, b/c it is just too full.
What do you mean by "follow?" Don't you just click the link that says comment here in the email alert… We have such a turbulent relationship R.E.D. lol
But as for the long comment thing, I don't know, I did a test comment that was super long—like a blog's length—and it went through fine. I deleted it afterwards. I live in a Mac world so it may be a small glitch for certain folks on certain systems. ***Shrugs*** Will still explore the issue to the best of my ability.
I'll take the compliment, just hate feeling guilty for doing my best. Sometimes I feel like I painted myself into a corner in a house with glass walls….
Good thing I got a glass cutter in my back pocket. ha!

Oh, I meant to bring this to your attention: I’ve not been seeing the follow up e-mail option since this new set up. Anytime there are changes, I go through this. What’s up with that? lol
Well, on my screen it's right below at the bottom of the message box, to the left of the "submit commeht" buton. Should see a scroll down bar next to "subscribe to" you can choose whether to get replies to ALL future comments or just comments to you. Think that means like now, when i hit the reply button.
I broke down all this when i did the post about the new features. Are you unable to see that scroll down?

Considering I'm the only one bringing that up, I guess it's a me thing. No biggie, one.
and here I am, thinking that our relationship is so stable, lololol!! listen, don't worry about the reply thing, I will figure it out. this is likely secondary to my not- so- superb computer skills. You kinda did do this to yourself..you have gotten us accostomed to one thing I guess, so it's abnormal when we don't get that. Listen, take it easy on yourself, life shouldn't be this stressful, and remember you just can't please everybody and sometimes you just have to ignore certain comments, mine included. Do your best, at the end of the day, you should sleep comfortably with that thought, once u know you did just that. The 5:6 wasn't too bad (who the hell says 5:6 anyway?). You know at the last event there were too many women and as a single woman I don't like the notion of looking 'thirsty.' I wonder if you r feeling me on this?. but really u cannot feel me, you r not a single woman..leaving now to speak to another female about the 'thirsty' concept….
