7 Sexiest Jobs For a Woman (What Do You Do For a Living?)

Pro: I don’t know what it is but I just love a woman in uniform and like I mentioned in a past post (can't recall which) them blue pants seem to accentuate the backsides of lady cops something wonderful. Add to that the sense of authority a female cop has to carry and she can handcuff me anytime.

Con: She has a gun and a license to use it. So God bless the man that crosses a woman cop scorned. Don’t let her be the jealous type either, because she can call in phone taps and run your record (or ruin it) at will. Proceed with caution.

2) STRIPPER/EXOTIC DANCER

Pro: By definition alone this has got to be one of the sexiest jobs for a woman. She oozes sexiness for a living and has all the moves a man could fantasize about in her arsenal. It's like having your own 3D porn (do they make those yet?). Anyway, like my girl Chardonnay from For the Love of Ray J this kind of shorty got gifts and I have no problem with her unwrapping said gifts for me nice... and... slow.

Con: She's a damn stripper. #CmonSon you can't wife no stripper. Your best bet is to just get a good “girl/wifey material" type to take a few pole dancing classes and you'll have the best of both worlds.

1) CHEERLEADER

Pro: Okay, this isn’t really a job but whenever I hear a girl used to be a cheerleader I think about an awesome split being performed somewhere on my person. I remember there was this one girl I knew that was bad as all hell and when she posted a pic on Facebook of her doing a split with a caption that said: "All those years of cheerleading and I still got it," I just had to step slowly away from the computer. She was already a dime but that right there rose her stock to a quarter.

Con: N/A Best job ever!

You know NWSO, you really are so tactful to these ppl. If she/he doesn't like the posts, then hell, stop reading them. I mean if you have an opinion so negative at least be able to back it up with some something other than 'getting worse and worse'. Criticism is one thing, but this....

I'm of the school of thought that yes men are pointless in that they don't make you any better. Even though we bump heads it's good to get a chin check every once in a while.
At any rate, y'all do me the favor of reading what I write and some even comment Good or bad it's all appreciated and pushes the conversation forward (well, most times). I know I've switched things up recently and trying different things in terms of topics and formats so definitely interested in what y'all think. Just makes for good customer service. In this particular case more specifics would def help in processing the critique. All I can do is take everything with a grain of salt and adjust as I see fit if at all.
Oh, and you didn't know I'm running against Barack in 2012. LMSO (laughing my socks off) #Diplomatic

I am too fiesty at times, I know. But that first comment was pure negativity. The others, Robert & Anaya, were constructive criticism and I can see both their points. I should just hush my comment mouth anyway, because no one was even speaking to me....When I first started reading the blog it was a series of highly thought-provoking topics and then you dropped this post about dark women and big booties and I was....apppalled, lolol!! But Quoteman (where is he?) put me right in my place. You just cannot write 'deep' blogs all the time. Sometimes you have to write about lighter things, like this...so Fridays can be..Frivolous Fridays..huh??? See how I just came up with that????I wear scrubs to work ~1/4 of the time- the most unsexiest gear ever in my opinion. This is likely b/c my scrubs are 2 sizes too big, I don't wear make-up, and I don't feel 'sexy' in them. But I never feel sexy at work, I mean do women really feel sexy at work? I come to work to do work, not to be cute/flirty/sexy. Hmmm, come to think of it, this is exactly why I was never able to snag another doctor and the nurses seem to have no problem doing so, lolol!! Some nurses do their thing in the scrubs though, but I certainly don't.

It's actually Summer Fridays for most so I've been keeping it light-hearted. I did the #FlashBackFriday week before last with the cereal post. Far from deep I admit, but come on, cereal is highly relatable and that's what i try to do. the conversations we all have with ourselves and friends but rarely speak out in the open. So sexiest jobs for women it is. LOL

Personally, I feel it's there (i.e. being transgender, how vain are you, racism within Latino community). Granted those post were all last week, but I guess it also depends on what you define/view as "intelligent."

I've always presented a mixed bag. The "women I'd like to..." posts have always been here, just as the introspective and the lighthearted. I cranked out 8 pieces this week in an effort to try new things and provide more variety. Sometimes less is more, others times more options covers all your bases.

Either way, I'm all about the conversations and discussions, so if this post led to this side-convo I'm happy. It's good to get honest feedback and criticism, I ask often but don't always get it. Keep it coming.

I have to agree with the first comment. The posts are becoming, well, boring. I have always read your blog for a sort of fresh take on different topics but it's just become unoriginal, forced, and not really insightful. I just sort of skipped through this one. I'll still be checking out new posts though!

Here's the thing that would help me better in all this: I'm a person that likes & needs specifics. Let me know what posts in particular you (or anyone else) felt was "boring, unoriginal, forced and not really insightful." Without that I'm left to guess, you know. I wrote it or edited so I must have thought it was good (or at the very least interesting LOL) so otherwise I'm left to wonder which of the 942 posts was "subpar."

My plan is to diversify the site and do more than one a day (I did 8 this week) with more it's not to churn out more of the same, but try different things, formats and topics. I'm still organizing #TeamNWSO to help me accomplish all that but until we get the system down it's still a lot to manage.

With that here's a question(s) for the board:

Do y'all like the idea of more varied posts or just one anchor post a day?
In the event that you don't like the post of the day, would you prefer having another option?
Do you only want serious topics from the site or have always appreciated that it was a mixed bag?

I apologize if my post came off as negative (to you and the other posters seem to think so), didn't mean to rattle any cages just wanted to share a thought which is what readers do on every post. You have had awesome posts from beginning to finish (probably have been reading for about a year now) and I do love them. I appreciate variety in topics, I just felt that the way posts have been written the past 2 weeks or so have been off. For specifics, posts like this one, the tomboy one, j-lo keeping a man, making love one last time, you're attractive but..., dating someone who used to be gay, there are a couple more but those are ones that I didn't really fall into and I felt were different from your usual caliber of writing.

I know this blog is your baby lol and people who post so-called negative (or what I would call "the other side of the coin") comments is like someone just called your child out of his/her name but yes, the blog is not always up to the standards of what you can write. And that's me being an asshole *kanye shrug*.

Keep doin' what you do. I think it's dope that you're coming out with more content (I could never do that, I come up with a blog topic like biweekly and that's if I'm SERIOUSLY inspired). And I'll try and come out of my dark corners more often (of course to offer praise as well as general feedback)!

Now that you mention specific posts I can better see where you're coming from. I did 8 posts last week, as opposed to my normal 4-5. With the redesign, I'm able to do more. There have been plenty of things I've found interesting over the past 3 years (i.e. Da Brat pics) but really couldn't post because it definitely wouldn't work as the post of the day, because it's interesting (to me) but not strong enough to hold it down for a day. So think of Da Brat post as the appetizer or dessert to what was the post of that day, Does Cheating Make You Stronger or Weaker? That's the post that was the true meat and potatoes, while Brat was just a bonus. That's the variety I'm going to continue to offer, some won't be for all and more niche but still something relevant to someone on the board.

if you follow me on Twitter (or watch the feed on the left), you'll see I'm more diverse than what the restrictions of the blog (one a day) held me to, now I can show more of me—for better or worse.

It's all a growing process, and trying new things. Some might work, some might now, but gotta try. Hopefully, you'll stick around and latch on to the posts you like and occasionally find something for you in the appetizers/dessert posts as well

Can't please everybody, unless you are talking weeks upon weeks of bad posting - this falls into the "opinions are like assholes" category. Some of us like these posts, and we appreciate the diversity of subject matter.

In my town, I could date a garbage man. They have these new trucks now that picks up each individual can and dumps it inside. They never have to touch the stuff. A mortician though? Probably not.

I don't have a job. I'm a stay at home mom right now. Hell naw that ain't sexy.

I liked this post. Surprised "teacher" wasn't on the list b/c I know a lot of men that dig teachers. Some say it's our (yes, this is what I am) perceived innocence and they get a kick out of seeing a COMPLETELY different side of us outside of the classroom (read in the bedroom)

I've never really cared what a man did for a living as long as he was taking care of himself and it kept him out of jail. the fact that you have a job period is a good look, it doesn't matter to me what it is exactly. However, I COULDN'T date someone in what I call the "dangerous" professions (cops, firemen, etc) b/c I'd worry too much

I agree, although the sexy teachers I met were mostly women. There needs to be more sexy men teaching. Perhaps that's a good thing because I am a teacher and having too many sexy men around may be detrimental to my job performance.

Well I like the mix of posts here on NWSO. I may like this one in particular b/c pole dancing is a hobby of mine and i admire the strength+grace of ballerinas (shouldn't have given that up at 5).

But jobs/careers/serious hobbies can definitely be turn-ons. I'm intrigued by men who use their hands to build/create (i.e., like in carpentry or sculpting). I can't think of any jobs that would be a turn off for myself...maybe a cop

I mean since when on this site does everything need to be this way or that? Isn’t that the point of this site, the difference topics, discussions, and opinions?
Just because some of us are uncomfortable w/change doesn’t mean we need to make others uncomfortable for attempting it. Change means growth regardless of the outcome. At the very least if it can’t be constructive criticism then it can just as easily be said by clicking to another site that DOESN’T change and you always know what to expect. Here’s to growth NWSO even when some may not be to happy w/it.

The exotic dancer definitely has its pros, but there are sooooo many cons. I've seen them firsthand after dating a stripper (she became one after I started dating her). Strippers often either have low self-esteem, were abused in some way, or are desperate for attention - the baggage can be a lot, so she's got to *really* be worth it. Plus, a lot of strippers segue into prostitution because of the easy money and the objectification they already subject themselves to. Not to mention the safety - strippers are more likely to get raped.

I'm a white European girl and I usually love reading NWSO, because it shows me a totally different viewpoint from what I see every day. But I find your 7 sexiest jobs for women kind of degrading. I mean, apart from the CEO and the policewoman, all the jobs you picked tend (to some extent) to objectify us. And if they don't, your idea of women with those jobs does. I'm kind of disappointed...

You forgot nurse being among the positive jobs alongside CEO and cop. Still, think ballerina and gymnasts are professions that take quite a bit of skills and talent. Some could say the same about strippers but I agree in that being the "job" that objectifies women.

Sorry you took offense at what I find sexy from a career stand point, hopefully my fetishes won't be held against me in the distant future.

End of the day I'm sure we all realize a woman (or man) can be sexy beyond what they do for a living, sexy is just sexy regardless of occupation...
